At minimum, half of the $125 sitting fee is due before or at the time of shoot and the remainder is due before orders are placed. Remaining balance of print/products due upon delivery.

Extra Costs: $25 for an addition of 1-3 people in shoot

Contract Terms & Conditions

Payments: At least half of sitting/event fee is due before or at time of shoot. Balance is due at time of order. Any additional costs due upon delivery.

Print/Product Credits: For all portrait sittings (headshots, couples, families and groups) a print/product credit will be included in the sitting fee. This credit goes towards your print or product order. If your order exceeds the P/P credit, you will be responsible for the balance of the order due at pick up. Please note: P/P credit is forfeited for all orders placed after 90 days from time of proof upload.

Proofs: Proofs should be available for web viewing no later than 30 days after shoot. Photographer’s failure to do so will result in an additional print/product credit of $20 for each additional month.

Orders: Please allow at least 1 week for order processing. Rush orders (when possible) require an extra charge of $20.

Third Party Orders: All orders should be placed by you. If you have a third-party interested in purchasing prints or products from your session or event, written authorization will be required.

Marketing: All images are subject to use for promotional and marketing purposes as the rights are owned by the photographer. If you would prefer for your images not to be used, please let us know.

Family Portraits

I recently photographed the Best family who is a family friend of Eli's family. The grandfather of the family was turning 70, I think, and they wanted to have a family portrait taken as a gift to him. Here is my favorite of all the shots.

LHS iDesign Portrait

For my day job, I work at Sierra College for the Center for Applied Competitive Technologies. One of our projects involves the formation of a new class program at Lincoln High School called "iDesign." The pilot class ends in June and my boss wanted me to photograph the students in their shop. She initially wanted a portrait with all the students in rows, but I suggested a more interactive shot! Here is what I came up with! Each student will receive a copy and we will be making a poster sized image for the classroom. Enjoy!

Manilla Surprise

For my senior portfolio class, we all were given a manilla envelope with either an object or written directions for use to follow in order to create an image. Mine was to photograph myself with every pair of shoes I own!

The reception for the show is tonight from 6-8pm at Camera Arts in Sacramento, 57th and H. The show will be up until February 4, 2008!

WPPI

There is a photography convention next March in Las Vegas that I really want to go to! Its the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International convention. It costs about $600 plus the cost of the plane ticket, the hotel and all my food. But I think it would be really beneficial, so we shall see. There is a scholarship that's available that pays for the convention, the plane ticket and the hotel plus a years membership to WPPI. I have until the end of the month to send in my stuff, but I think I can get it submitted in time. We shall see though. It would be nice to win it, but then there's always the next one!
